We met Ed through the Realty Plus program. We can sum up our experience using the phrase consummate professional. Even though we are not in the market to buy a home at the moment, Ed understood that we are starting the retirement planning process. He took the time to give us a tour of his realty area and provided many great suggestions on things we need to think about as we plan the next phase of our lives. Edward was absolutely fantastic! My wife and I are first-time homebuyers, so we were a little nervous about the whole process. But Edward quickly alleviated all our worries with his extensive knowledge about the home-buying process. He was extremely friendly and hard working. He even made himself available after hours, and would respond to texts/emails/calls whenever we reached out to him. He always gave us updates and kept us informed every step of the way. Edward also knows a large network of contractors in various fields, so we were always sure that if we had a problem/question, he would know what to do or who to call. We relocated from across the U.S. and Edward showed us homes via FaceTime before our arrival. Once we arrived in NC he set up multiple showings, sometimes on short notice and did so with a smile on his face. He was present at every appointment we had with the builder and his negotiations with the builder got us everything we wanted and more. We bought a house with Edward in the RTP are in July of 2013. Due to a rather restrictive criteria, our home search took about 6 months to complete.

Throughout the process, Edward was always responsive and immediately available. As first time homebuyers, we had absolutely no idea about the process, paperwork, costs, etc. During our first meeting, Edward explained the ins and outs of home buying in North Carolina in incredible detail that showed an expertise that we simply had not seen with speaking with other agents. We walked away from that conversation sure that we had found the right man for the job. Over and over, Edward proved that he had a mastery of process; it might be tempting to say he did an excellent job at walking us through the process, but in reality, he did all the hard work himself.

One thing we really appreciated was Edward's patience with our criteria; he never tried to put us a place we didn't want, or ask us to change our criteria. Instead, he took an offensive approach, trying to find properties that weren't listed in traditional places. He was able to find us a property that was originally for rent, Thanks to his professionalism and knowledgability, he was able to take the property owners through the For Sale by Owner process. He flawlessly managed the tension of representing us as buyers, and still walking the sellers through all the appropriate processes and never once tried to represent both sides. So much so that in a conversation I had with the sellers afterwards, the seller said, and I quote, 'That guy is awesome! I'm going to recommend him to anyone we know who's buying or selling.'

Edward is an excellent agent; I can't think of a thing I would've asked him to improve on.

Edward was great! My wife and I were relocating from outside the continental United States and we could not travel to Cary to house hunt. Edward went above and beyond by visiting multiple houses for us, including weekends and early evenings. He provided exceptionally detailed reports on the houses. We also learned of a 'hot area' for houses. Houses came and went within days.
